A warehouse conversion used dramatic dark battens inside and out for an industrial-warm look.
The approach
We specified woodgrain aluminium battens in our Wenge finish - very dark brown to near-black. Internal and facade battens delivered the warmth of timber while keeping the build low-maintenance and suited to the local climate.
The Wenge look is high-contrast contemporary designs - which made it a natural fit for this urban warehouse conversion.
The result
A finished project with a genuine timber aesthetic that needs no oiling or repainting.
